Jeremy Piven Exploring World Of Reality Tv In New Series


Entourage star Jeremy Piven is set to explore the world of reality TV for a new documentary series.

The actor is teaming up with director Bert Marcus to discover the impact of the genre on media, entertainment and society and the show, titled What I Really Want to Do Is..., will feature a slew of actors, musicians and sports personalities revealing what passions they would pursue if they were to launch a different career.

Piven will host and co-produce the show, while he will also star in the pilot, which will showcase his talents as a drummer, reports trade paper Daily Variety.

I may not know all that much about Ashley Hebert and JP Rosenbaum’s reality show romance on this past season of The Bachelorette, but I’ve got to admit, these two look very much in love. After stopping by Good Morning America, the happily engaged pair hit Live with Regis and Kelly on August 2.

Flashing their pearly whites, the pair walked hand-in-hand and even squeezed in a kiss while leaving the studio. After keeping their real-life relationship on the down-low for so many months, the fact that these two can finally take their PDA public has got to be refreshing.

Reality Shows: Kendall & Kylie Jenner Cover Katy Perry’s ‘Fireworks’

Well, not everyone in the Kardashian clan is busy prepping for Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries’ wedding! Kylie and Kendall Jenner wrote that they made this video, where they’re covering Katy Perry’s song ‘Fireworks,’ in Wyoming, a place they go to every year.

Katy is a tough act to follow, but I think Kylie and Kendall did a pretty good job. I predict that, within a couple of years, these two are going to have their own reality TV show. They seem to like playing around in front of the camera ;) . What do you think?

Well, all things must come to an end, and the same can be said for the cast on MTV’s Jersey Shore. After a turbulent summer in their Seaside Heights abode, the rowdy reality stars bid farewell to their beach side bungalow.

With their suitcases, and yes, even Snooki’s beloved “crocadilly” accounted for, the Jersey crew checked out of the house that made them famous to end their summer at home. Although the fourth season of the reality smash is set to debut this Thursday, I have to admit, with all the drama that went down at the shore this summer, I’m more anxious to see what’s in store for season five!

Reality Shows: ‘Bachelorette’ Ashley Hebert On ‘Good Morning America’ (Spoiler Warning)

If you DVR’d last night’s season finale of ‘The Bachelorette‘ where Ashley Hebert made her choice and don’t want to be spoiled, then do NOT watch this video (which is after the break)!

Reality Shows: Heidi Montag & Spencer Pratt Say “You Can Be Too Famous”

Now those are words I NEVER thought I’d hear coming from either member of the duo known as Speidi: Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag. Spencer said them in an interview with the Daily Beast.
They admitted that their whole “break-up” was a lie (and the Daily Beast writer noted that everything they said in this interview that could be fact-checked independently was- LOL). So what happened?

“We were all getting paid to be people we weren’t for so long that you stop—there’s no line,” Spencer said. “The gauge is gone. The gray area is gone. We got so deep with how many storylines we had to do to continue the machine.”

“So what was one more fake breakup?” Heidi asked rhetorically.
“At that point, we were pulling our last cards,” Spencer said. “We felt the hot-air balloon losing its gas. And at that stage, our income would be selling the photo that would go along with the divorce.”

Spencer admits they spent their money as soon as they got it, which is why they’re now reportedly broke and living with Spencer’s parents.

“We were living each other’s mistakes—everything we were doing, in retrospect, was a mistake. The second we continued on our quest for fame was a mistake.” Spencer said. “This isn’t a business. That was the big thing I didn’t get: Reality TV is not a career. Anyone who says, ‘Oh, you can have a career in reality’—that is a lie.”
