Mariah Yeater's Attorney: We Hoped To Settle With Justin Bieber Out Of Court

Teen popstar Justin Bieber has reportedly agreed to take a paternity test to prove he's not the father of 20-year-old Mariah Yeater's three-month-old son, but lawyers for the woman claim they had hoped to settle the matter out of court.


RadarOnline reports that Jeffery Leving, one of Yeater's attorneys, appeared on "Lifechangers with Dr. Drew" on Tuesday and claimed they tried to contact Bieber's lawyers before the lawsuit had been filed and never received a response.


Of course, settling out of court would have theoretically meant avoiding the media circus the lawsuit has brought for both parties, but it also suggests that Yeater's case is not as strong as she claims.


Leving told the show he wants a "carefully supervised" DNA test to establish paternity, adding that the wealthy shouldn't be able to bully a single mother. "Justice is not a luxury for the rich," he said.


Until the results of the paternity test are in we can't say for sure who is lying, but Yeater's recent appearance on "The Insider," did not seem to help her case.


When asked about her ex-boyfriend John Terranova,...
she wouldn't comment and then appeared visibly flustered when told Terranova's grandmother said Yeater accused her grandson in 2010 of getting her pregnant. Yeater is actually due in court Dec. 12, on battery charges linked to her allegations.


Yeater also walked out of the interview when asked if any of the other girls who were backstage at the concert where she says she had sex with Bieber could confirm her version of the events.


Bieber has responded to the allegations denying that he ever met Yeater and yesterday he Tweeted:

Justin Bieber's 'Mistletoe' Brightens Billboard 200 With No. 1 Debut

Justin Bieber continues to break records on Billboard's charts, as his "Under the Mistletoe" album debuts at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, selling 210,000 in its first week according to Nielsen SoundScan.


The collection is the first Christmas set by a male artist to debut at No. 1 in the 55-year history of the chart and just the eighth holiday album to hit No. 1. Susan Boyle's 2010 album "The Gift" is the only other Christmas effort to open atop the list.


Previous to Boyle, the six earlier holiday albums to top the Billboard 200 were:
Josh Groban's "Noel" (1997), Kenny G's "Miracles - the Holiday Album" (1994), Mitch Miller's "Holiday Sing Along With Mitch" (1962) and "Christmas Sing-Along With Mitch" (1958), Bing Crosby's "Merry Christmas" (1957) and Elvis Presley's "Elvis' Christmas Album" (1957).


Further, "Mistletoe" marks the 17-year old's third No. 1 album. He is the first soloist to earn three No. 1s before their 18th birthday. Previously, he was tied with LeAnn Rimes, who notched two No. 1s in 1997 -- before she turned 16.

The line-up for the 11th series of I'M A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here has been unveiled with a definite slant towards more mature contestants, after it was rumoured that show bosses believed they were more popular with viewers - despite last year's winner, former 'X Factor UK' contestant Stacey Solomon being the sprightly age of 23 years old.

So is the list of contestants the usual list of former soap stars, ex-sportsmen and bit-part musicians? Pretty much; at the older end of the age spectrum is former jockey Willie Carson, aged 68, 69 year-old actress Stephanie Power, comedian Freddie Star, 60, fellow 60 year-old 'Emmerdale' actress Lorraine Chase and 'Benidorm' star and 53 year-old Crissy Rock. Battling it out at the younger end meanwhile is Mcfly bassist Dougie Poynter, aged 23, 'The Only Way Is Essex' star Mark Wright, 24, and former glamour model Jessica Jane Clement, 25. Despite being tipped to appear on the show, Itv's announcement did not include Eastenders actress Natalie Cassidy.

Former jockey Carson spoke of his excitement of being on the show, saying "The grandchildren are massive fans. The street cred is going to get lifted when they find out I am doing this! I know they will be excited. I have watched the show in the past, but not religiously. I am determined to really enjoy my experience in the jungle." For her part, Chase admitted "It's not something I would normally do and I think people in the business will be shocked when they see that I am. I am really excited about the challenges ahead." Former World Javelin Champion Fatima Whitbread and 'Coronation Street's' Antony Cotton complete the lineup. The series begins in the UK on November 13th 2011

Liam Gallagher has revealed he thinks his brother Noel's solo album is ''good'' but would be better if he was singing on it.

The Beady Eye frontman likes his sibling and former Oasis bandmate's debut LP, 'Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds', but knows the tracks would sound better with his vocals.

In an interview with NME, he said: "They'd be f***ing better with me singing. They would be! They're good man, but they'd be proper if I was on there."

Liam - who formed Beady Eye with the rest of Oasis after Noel walked out of the band in August 2009 - still hasn't ruled out reforming Oasis for the 20 year anniversary of their seminal album '(What's The Story) Morning Glory?' because he thinks Noel is "desperate" to do so, but in the meantime he is happy for them to carry on with their respective separate careers.

He said: "There's every chance [of getting back together]. I know our kid's desperate to.

"And with this thing in 2015, I think me and him can put our issues aside and do it without a doubt. But I still think there's room for Beady Eye and the High Flying Birds, whatever they're called. Without a doubt."

Katy Perry will no longer be able to work with producer Dr. Luke - who helmed her last album 'Teenage Dream' - because he has signed a deal with Sony Music which prohibits him from collaborating with artists not on that label.

Katy Perry is set to stop working with producer Dr. Luke.

The pop star and the studio wizard worked together on her hit album 'Teenage Dream' - which contained several chart-topping hits, including 'California Gurls', 'E.T.' and 'Last Friday Night' - but the relationship must end after he signed a new deal with Sony Music.

The producer - real name Lukasz Gottwald - has agreed to join the company in 2012 and run his own record label under the Sony umbrella.

The new venture will be called Kemosabe Records and, as part of the contract, Dr. Luke can only work with Sony artists, which rules out future collaborations with Katy because she is on EMI.

The 27-year-old singer - who is married to Russell Brand - is preparing to release the 'The One That Got Away', which will be the sixth single from 'Teenage Dream'.

Dr. Luke has also worked with a number of other chart-topping artists, including Kesha, Britney Spears, Jessie J and most recently with Rihanna on her new album 'Talk That Talk'.
